Do you have any tips for increasing water intake during the day? I feel like I am still not choosing to do things that are good for me like drink enough water everyday and other things that will make me feel good. Like I’m STILL not listening to my body and it’s needs!

Just need some face time on how to get my head back in back in it. It has been a real struggle and I am sure stiff like this will happen after the program ends so it will be nice to have a plan when this pops up again. I don’t like the obsessive food thoughts and the out of control feeling. I will take any help, advice or tips you can give me.

absolutely. I had to talk myself into being okay to stop cycle class halfway through today because my foot was hurting and I was adding more strain to it every minute. I was the fat girl leaving class. had to talk it through because it wasn’t based on my weight. and I just did a full class a few days prior. I think self talk is important and we, I, need to utilize it to the fullest.

I am posing this question with “I” but am sure others in the group can relate. Would love this to be a group discussion. What are some ways to handle holiday foods and events? I will be around special holiday food, most of which are not available in abundance, so naturally, a scarcity mindset is likely. My MIL makes the most wonderful homemade bread and other desserts. Every year I end up making myself sick because I binge on some of these foods at night while others are asleep or just straight up eat and go back to the food periodically all day long.

I’m feeling way better with how I don’t rely on emotional eating as much as I used to in the past. I used to call myself a “garbage disposal”. But the use of comfort foods to cope is definitely still there. I’m not feeling guilty but I guess I’m also looking for suggestions for alternatives to coping. Thank you!
